CLAIM: This picture shows a South African road

VERDICT: INCORRECT, the road is actually in Zimbabwe.
Recently, a South African twitter user (@Thulaga35873563) posted a picture showing a dilapidated road and claimed that the road is located in South Africa, urging citizens in that country to vote wisely in their next elections for better roads.
“Only in SA (South Africa) where you can find a side walk in the middle of the road… Remember to vote wisely bagaetsho,” reads the caption.
However after checking, FactCheckZw confirmed hat the picture was actually shot in Pumula North high density suburb, Bulawayo in Zimbabwe.
The picture has been used several times dating back to 2017 in Ghana and Uganda.
To track the origins of this picture FackCheckZw used a phone application called Photo Sherlock as well as Google Reverse Image Search.
CONCLUSION: The picture shows a place located in Zimbabwe, not in the neighbouring South Africa.
