As a non-profit organisation, FactCheckZW, relies on a variety of sources for funding projects, operations, salaries, and other overhead costs. Fundraising efforts are important for our existence and success. We accept funding from philanthropic foundations; grants from local and international agencies, as well as local and foreign governments; and private corporations.
We do not accept funding from political parties in the country and any such partisan bodies.
Funding is accepted on the basis that FactCheckZW retains total editorial and programming independence, without any interference from the funder.
Any funder who contributes more than 5 percent of our annual operating budget is named here and their logo displayed.
